Peacebank Yoga's 

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

The course will include comprehensive and genuine teachings on Yoga philosophy, yogic life, asanas, pranayama, anatomy, meditation, mantra-chanting, teaching methodology, alignment, and adjustments. Peacebank Yoga 200 Hour YRT is certified by Yoga Alliance USA and grants a certified YA Diploma upon completion. This training would not be complete without the added flavor of adventure and hilarious moments you will come to expect with the three lead teachers. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tuition:
 $3785 plus cost for lodging and food during our Immersion weekend away. A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to register and secure your spot in the course. The balance will be due by July 1st, 2019.      

 

Early bird pricing with $250 off tuition cost if paid in full by May 1st, 2019.  

   

You will receive free unlimited yoga at Peacebank Yoga Studio during the teacher training course, From July 1-Oct 31st.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prerequisites:
                                                                    

Participants should have a minimum on 1 year regular Vinyasa Flow practice. Exceptions can be made with management approval. 

 

Attendance:
                                                                         

 Attendance of all sessions and homework is mandatory to receive a certificate of completion. All absences must be cleared and approved with Peacebank Yoga Studio management and makeup work submitted. Homework will be assigned to ensure that participants gain the required knowledge and contact hours per Yoga Alliance guidelines. Participates are encouraged to schedule their own study groups to share notes and practice techniques covered in the course. Private sessions can be booked at a discount to cover missed sessions.

Faysal Abi

 

 

Faysal Abi is a Bay Area-based full time yoga instructor who has been practicing for over 16 years. He has helped hundreds of people gain more insight, increase flexibility, manage chronic pain and improve skill level in their yoga practice. Faysal first studied yoga after a debilitating back injury from a car accident and has since been a believer in its healing power and ability to bring the body back to balance.

With his roots in martial arts, extreme fitness and sports activity, Faysal is a natural on the mat. He specializes in helping others with masterful poses, lessening chronic pain, deepening their ability to stretch, increasing strength and overall well-being.

He has studied under Jonathan Rickert and completed a 100-hour advanced yoga training with Jonathan.

He completed his yoga certification course in 2014 at Peacebank's 200-hour teacher training. He is a part of Damanhur’s School of Meditation, a member of schools that deepen meditation practices, is a hypnotherapist and believer in healthy living.

When he is not on the mat, you can find him hiking with his German Shepherd named Zen, mountain biking, reading about health, wellness, nutrition and the mind-body connection.

Emily Moore

 

 

Emily Galvin Moore is a lifelong student of Yoga and owner of peacebank yoga studio. She is known for her inspirational teaching style and her ability to blend creative intelligent flow, connection to the subtle energy body, and inspired joy-filled and lightness of being. She is indebted to her training with Don and Amba Stapleton of Nosara Yoga, her continued education as a Yoga Therapist, the chance to study with some of today's top leading teachers (Rod Stryker, Schuyler Grant, Janet Stone), the creative spirit Its Yoga kids training, and the inspiration she receives from each and every one of her students and fellow teachers. Emily has been a lead trainer for the Peacebank teacher training for the past 5 years. 

She is delighted to share this self-discovery and journey into new depths of your own yoga practice, building yoga relationships and community, and preparing you to share the gift of yoga with yourself and all those you choose to teach. She will invite you to enter into an authentic relationship with your practice and self, allowing your inner wisdom to become the ultimate guide into your personal teaching gifts and style. When you study with her we know you will find a stimulating space where you are free to deepen your own relationship with self through the injury and exploration of the yoga you were born to live, practice, breathe, and share with all those that surround you.

Jessica Jacobson

Jessica Jacobson

Jessica graduated from Vanguard University of Southern California in 1997 with a Degree in Liberal Studies, Psychology and Religion.  She qualified as a teacher at Notre Dame de Namur in 1999. In 2005 she furthered her education by studying a masters degree in Psychology at Sophia University.  

In addition to her degrees, Jessica has also graduated from Tree of Life Institute, Reiki, Samonas Sound Therapy, Spiritual Psychology, Damanhur’s school of Spiritual Healers and Alchemy School. She is trained in Clinical Hypnosis, Meditation, birthing courses, breathwork, 200hr yoga, prenatal yoga, and butti yoga. She also walked the pathway of the Monk for two years in her Kabbalah school. 

Jessica’s spiritual path has taken her around the world. From Christian roots in America, she has journeyed to Crete to study women’s initiations; to Spain to research Kabbalah; to San Francisco to study Buddhism; to the Amazon Rain Forest in Ecuador to learn about healing with plants and shamanism, and finally for the past 12 years she has traveled to Italy to study in depth spiritual teaching at Damanhur. 

Currently, Jessica founded Fhortruss which offers people a chance to learn about evolutionary workshops, teachings, and personal awareness. Jessica is also a clinician where she practices different forms of therapy and alternative healing. She also teaches yoga and is the USA Representative for Damanhur. Jessica is continually seeking to understand and explore different healing modalities, psychological growth and unifying theories for her own self and to help with the evolutionary process of humankind.
