Dr. Petia Kremen is board certified in both Internal medicine as well as Integrative & Holistic medicine and has practiced for over 10 years. She received her medical degree from the University of Varna, Bulgaria followed by additional postgraduate training in both England and the US (UCLA). At UCLA she received the distinguished “Excellence in Medicine” award for her skills and compassion while completing her Internal Medicine specialization training. While she was practicing Internal medical for many years in various clinical settings, she was frequently frustrated by the limitations of conventional western medicine in regards to preventive medicine and treating a patient in a whole. This dichotomy made her study and then apply integrative and holistic medicine to patients with much satisfactory outcomes. Dr. Kremen sees the person as a whole and strongly believes that “a good physician treats the disease, but the great one the person.” She applies to her practice of medicine a rich experience in modalities such as Functional Medicine, Allopathic Medicine, Homeopathy, Herbal Medicine, Body-Mind Healing, HeartMath, Energy Medicine, and Bach Flower Essence.http://monarda.biz
